YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — A major drug distribution network has been dismantled in Yuba County following a comprehensive investigation led by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
According to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation, which began in July 2024, centered on Jose Garcia-Avalos of Yuba City, identified as a key distributor of controlled substances throughout the county and beyond.
Authorities discovered multiple drug trafficking organizations linked to Garcia-Avalos over the yearlong investigation. These organizations were responsible for distributing drugs sourced from the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
