In a rematch of last spring’s Walter Cup finalists, the Charge were down 3-0 by the seven-minute mark of the first period and never could recover from the shoddy start in a 5-1 loss to the two-time defending champion Minnesota Frost.
The Charge has one win and two losses (all in regulation time) to show from a three-game home stand it hoped to use as a springboard into the rest of its 2025-26 season.
Ottawa now hits the highway for a visit with the Toronto Sceptres on Thursday
