CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The back-and-forth continues in the impasse over “shared” parking in the lot between the city sewer department and an abutting auto shop on Noble Road.
Public Works Department officials presented council with a detailed PowerPoint Nov. 17 outlining various perceived “encroachment” issues limiting access to their driveway next to Thunderbolt Auto Care.
Although he was out of town at the time, Interim Mayor Tony Cuda remained optimistic that a deal could be reached.
“I am looking very seriously at helping resolve the Thunderbolt situation with José (Quiles, the current owner and operator),” Cuda said this week after visiting the site early in November.
In making his department’s case to council last month, assistant Public Works Director Anthony Ferrone cited
