Hugh Freeze is 'angry' after Auburn firing, ready to coach again
Former Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze said he remains “angry” about his midseason firing and motivated to return to the sideline. He broke his silence Tuesday during an appearance on the See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack podcast. It marked his first public comments since Auburn dismissed him on Nov. 2 and officially moved forward Sunday by hiring South Florida’s Alex Golesh as its next head football coach.
“I’m kind of pissed off,” Freeze said. “I have a little something to prove. So if somebody’s looking for that, I think my resume speaks for itself."
