Nevada got the win but it almost felt like escaping with the victory over UC San Diego.

The Wolf Pack got past the Tritons, 76-70, in front of an announced crowd of 7,211 fans at Lawlor Events Center on Tuesday.

Corey Camper led the Pack with 15 points, including four clutch free throws down the stretch, to help the Pack overcome a terrible night at the stripe (13-of-22). He was 7-of-8 from the stripe for the game.

Tayshawn Comer added 12 points as Nevada improved to 6-3 overall. Vaughn Weems and Peyton White each had 11 points.

UC San Diego went into the game at 7-0, had won 20 straight regular-season games dating back to last season, and 22-of-23 with the lone loss to Michigan in the NCAA Tournament last spring.
