The North Carolina high school wrestling season is underway.

Boys and girls squads across the state began competitions as early as Nov. 10, and Wilmington-area teams are ready for another big season.

A handfull of area athletes claimed regional titles in the 2024-25 season, while several more earned top-five finishes in last season's state championship matches. With another season of exciting wrestling action carrying us through the winter sports season, here are 39 Wilmington-area boys and girls wrestlers to watch this winter.
