Motorists have been informed that four additional vehicles have been added to the list eligible for the maximum £3,750 discount on new purchases. This expansion doubles the number of electric vehicles (EVs) that qualify for the maximum reduction under the grant, meaning drivers can now receive a £3,750 discount on eight models across some of the most popular brands.

New Renault and MINI models are now included in the scheme, which offers the maximum £3,750 discount. Over 40,000 drivers have benefited from the grant since its introduction in July.
