Meghan Markle makes personalized advent calendars for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, containing handwritten notes to them, her new Netflix special has revealed.

The Duchess of Sussex reads out two of the messages during With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration , her cooking show's festive special, saying: "I love you because you're so kind," and "I love you because you're so brave."

Meghan placed the folded paper inside a pouch in a reusable advent calendar alongside small presents in gift boxes.
