People across the North East are being warned to expect rain and strong gusts this week. And there could also be a brief spell of snow in one area.
The Met Office forecast shows rain and "very strong winds" on the evening of Friday, December 5. Latest weather maps show gusts of up to 27mph during the day.
However, these become stronger as the day goes on, reaching the mid 30s by 3pm. And then, gusts of up to 48mph across the region by 6pm. The winds start to ease overnight into Saturday.
