A woman convicted of stabbing a 67-year-old man to death in Durand Eastman Park in 2021 on Tuesday received the maximum sentence in state Supreme Court.

Shannon Rienholtz in March was convicted of second-degree murder for the Sept. 29, 2021 death of James Wooden, 67, of Rochester . She was sentenced to the maximum penalty - 25 years to life in state prison - by state Supreme Court Justice Judith Sinclair.
