A man was killed when the car he was driving crashed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40 near Palestine in St. Francis County on Nov. 26, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police.

Tyler Anderson, 24, of Blytheville was killed when the 2023 Kia he was driving east left the roadway at 11:12 p.m. and struck the trailer of a 2017 Kenworth tractor-trailer on the outside shoulder, the report says.

The report does not list anyone in the tractor-trailer as being injured in the crash.
