Coronation Street 's Todd Grimshaw makes a worrying new promise tonight, as evil Theo Silverton fears that he's in danger of losing his obsessive control in their relationship. When it seems that there's hope of Todd reconciling with his friends George Shuttleworth and Christina Boyd, abusive Theo has other ideas.

In new scenes tonight, Todd is forced to announce that he's "back from London" – another of Theo's lies – after Dev Alahan finds him at the flat. He quickly makes excuses for his facial injury , claiming that it was the result of a drunken afternoon during his trip away.
