December means conference play starts in college basketball, and the Big Ten is at the forefront of that, with two teams looking to make a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The Northwestern Wildcats (5-2) travel just north to Madison, Wisconsin, for a date with the Wisconsin Badgers (5-2) from the Kohl Center in each team's first Big Ten game of the season.
