A couple have stepped down from their role managing a Grade 2-listed hotel in North Yorkshire, it has been announces.

Mark Booth and Suze Chomo, who spent just under a year as custodians of Rudby Hall Hotel near Hutton Rudby, described the experience as "amazing" but said they felt it was time to move on.

The couple, who had no prior experience in hospitality, discovered the historic property online and knew it was "now or never" to take the leap of faith.
