GREENVILLE, S.C. —
The first Wednesday in December means the beginning of college football's early signing period.
Over the next three days, college programs across the country will officially finalize most, if not all, of their 2026 recruiting classes. The remaining unsigned players will lock in their commitment during National Signing Day in February.
Several area high school football standouts will sign with Power 4 programs and Division 1 teams this week, including Clemson, South Carolina, NC State, and Wake Forest.
Clemson's 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 17 nationally (No. 3 in ACC) in the On3/rivals composite rankings, highlighted by top-100 recruits Naeem Burroughs from Jacksonville and Dorman's Kentavion Anderson.
