The 1964 stop-motion animated special, " Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ," will air on broadcast TV this week, and on streaming platforms throughout December, once again bringing Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius and the Island of Misfit Toys to life.
The 47-minute holiday special, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," is rebroadcast yearly, inspiring nostalgia and spreading feel-good Christmas songs with its iconic Christmas character, Rudolph. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" or "Frosty the Snowman " also are among 1960s animated specials that receive annual showings.
