Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife Jillian Lauren Shriner , who was shot during an altercation with Los Angeles Police earlier this year, has filed for divorce after two decades wed to the musician.

Lauren Shriner, 52, listed “irreconcilable differences” in Tuesday’s divorce filing , obtained by TMZ, which broke the news. She did not designate a date of separation from the musician, 60.

The bestselling author — known for books like “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem” and “Pretty” — has requested joint legal and physical custody of their teenage sons , per Us Weekly.

The couple made headlines in April when LAPD was searching for a trio of hit-and-run suspects and found Lauren Shriner in her yard, holding a handgun, which she was ordered “to drop … numerous times.”
