SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The 15-year-old boy accused of fatally shooting a 14-year-old Twinsburg High School freshman, appeared in Summit County Juvenile Court Wednesday morning.
The Twinsburg Township boy is charged with murder and tampering with evidence.
The state has filed a motion to have his case bound over to the adult court system.
According to Twinsburg police, at 11:48 a.m. on Nov. 15, Brown’s mother called police and said her daughter had left their Ravenna Road home with a gun.
Officers began to search the area and at 12:36 p.m., dispatch received a call from a resident on White Oak Drive who heard gun shots.
Officers responded and found Brown with a gunshot wound in a wooded area northwest of Twinsburg High School on Ravenna Road.
