SENECA, S.C. —

Two people were shot while sitting in a car at a Seneca, South Carolina, gas station, according to police.

Police said about 2 a.m. Nov. 20 they were called to the QuikTrip at 105 Bypass 123 in Seneca about a shooting.

Investigators said they learned the suspect had been in the gas station and then walked out and fired multiple shots into a vehicle as it tried to drive away.

Greenville County Detention Center

Two people in the car were shot but have been released from the hospital.

Video surveillance in the area was used to identify the suspect as Justin Lee Mitchell, police said.

On Tuesday, Mitchell was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Greenville County and is being held at the Greenville County Detention Center.
