Criminal charges have been filed against a Pontiac felon in connection with the fatal shooting of his stepfather last weekend in Pontiac.
As announced by the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, Terrell Quayshawn Edwards, 26, is facing charges of first-degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of felony firearm for the death of Antonio Craig, 52. Edwards is accused of firing five shots at Craig as he sat inside a pickup truck on Nov. 29. Craig was hit four times by the gunfire, officials said.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said deputies on patrol found Craig unresponsive in the vehicle on Karen Court, at around 7:30 p.m. that evening. He was subsequently pronounced dead. Edwards was arrested approximate
