Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo shared on Instagram that she and her husband are separated on their first wedding anniversary.

The couple received their marriage license back on Oct. 30, 2024.

Judge Mike Engelhart signed the license during a ‘paper wedding,’ which made them legally married in Texas .
