A digital forensics expert with the Massachusetts State Police revealed for the first time under cross-examination Wednesday morning that Brian Walshe searched for luxury cars and diamond rings before and after looking up divorce in late December of 2022.

Trooper Nicholas Guarino was the second witness called by prosecutors during Walshe’s trial, which is in its third day Wednesday morning. On the stand Tuesday, he testified at length under direct examination about grisly searches found on a laptop belonging to Walshe , like “best ways to dispose of a body.”

But defense attorney Larry Tipton pointed out several searches on cross-examination that prosecutors skipped over during their questioning.
