Netflix has left viewers devastated after announcing that Friends will be leaving the streaming platform for good at the end of the year. Fans of the beloved '90s sitcom will no longer be able to stick on their favourite comfort watch episode on Netflix whenever they feel like it. ‌

Like Ross and Rachel, it appears Friends and the platform are officially going on a break. But unlike the legendary couple, there's no telling if the two will ever reunite. ‌

Netflix was previously set to cut ties with Friends in 2018 but the possibility of that happening caused such an uproar that the streamer struck a reported $100million agreement to keep the show on the platform. Unfortunately, this time around there may not be such a loophole. ‌
