At 6:41 p.m., NOPD officers responded to a shooting at Clara and First streets.

The victim was transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment.

At roughly the same time, another victim walked into a local emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

At this time, it is not known if these incidents are related.
