MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A local real estate company is doing its part to help local charities.

Verani Realty is giving away $12,000 to local charities through its "12 Days of Giving."

Twelve of its 20 offices are picking charities near and dear to their hearts to receive $1,000 each.

The real estate company is announcing one charity a day for every day through Dec. 12.

"With the holiday season coming, we thought this would be a great opportunity," Makayla Ruth, marketing manager for Verani Realty, said.

So far, Verani Realty has donated money to Operation Delta Dog and the Front Door Agency.
