Saguaros raise $1.37 million for children’s charities

The Saguaros’ 36th annual Niteflite Golf & Gala fundraiser, held November 14–15, raised a record $1.37 million for the Saguaros Children’s Charities.

The Saguaros will announce their grant funding for Arizona children’s charities in May, according to a press release.

The event’s theme was “Welcome to the Jungle.”

The event included a sold-out golf tournament at McCormick Ranch Golf Club and a gala at The W Scottsdale.

“Our goal this year was to surpass $1 million, and I’m extremely proud of our hardworking team for blowing that number out of the water, raising $1.37 million,” this year’s Niteflite event chair, Simon Assaf said in the press release. “Things looked a little different at this year’s gala as we took precautions for a rainy night and tented the rooftop of the W. Ultimately,
