Five-star Edna Karr defensive lineman Richard Anderson said he’ll sign with LSU on Wednesday, reversing course on a reported decision to withhold his signature until coach Lane Kiffin finalized his staff.

Anderson is a top-30 national recruit, according to 247Sports composite rankings, the second-best player in Louisiana and one of the two pillars of the Tigers’ 2026 freshman class. He first committed to the Tigers in June – not long before five-star University High defensive lineman Lamar Brown pledged to LSU.
