Festive fun is back at a North Yorkshire town hall with a packed December programme.

The events at Masham Town Hall begin on Friday, December 5, with A Midwinter's Night, a seasonal concert of Christmas tunes and carols from England and abroad.

Performing are two award-winning contemporary folk artists, Jackie Oates and John Spiers.

The Guardian described their collaboration as “a blend of elegant, rhythmic and virtuoso playing and easygoing folk club banter. A quiet triumph.”

Tickets are £18 and available online or from the Masham Community Office.

Earlier that day, families can visit Santa’s Grotto at the town hall from 12pm to 2pm. No appointment is needed.
