GV Wire News Director Bill McEwen talks with KMPH Fox 26 “Great Day” anchor Liz Gonzalez about California’s failed attempts to improve state government and better assist residents through technology programs.

California has spent $450 million on a new 911 system touted by Gov. Gavin Newsom that doesn’t work.

The 911 failure is the latest in a series of expensive, tax-wasting, high-tech flops for California’s state government.

Asked by Gonzalez about the potential impacts on Newsom’s presumed run for president in 2028, McEwen opined that opponents will make a big deal about the tech failures.
