Three infrastructure improvement projects on the New York State Thruway in Central New York have been completed on time and on budget, representing a $17.4 million investment in the region’s transportation system, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced.

The projects included a bridge replacement, bridge rehabilitation and pavement improvements across more than 20 highway miles on Interstate 90. All three were finished in November, with work funded through toll revenue rather than tax dollars.

“Infrastructure investments are benefiting New Yorkers by modernizing our transportation system and improving the quality of life for travelers, local businesses, and residents,” Hochul said. “These projects are transforming our roadways, critical for the economy and improving travel for millions of motorists.
