Salvador Plasencia was scheduled to be sentenced by a federal judge in Los Angeles after pleading guilty to illegally supplying the drug ketamine to actor Matthew Perry.
Authorities said Plasencia did not provide the ketamine that killed the ‘Friends’ star in 2023, but ‘undoubtedly contributed to the harm that Mr. Perry suffered.’
Perry, 54, was found dead in the hot tub of his Pacific Palisades home. He died from ‘acute effects of ketamine,’ officials said.
A physician who supplied ketamine to “Friends” star Matthew Perry in the weeks leading up to the actor’s death is scheduled to appear in federal court in Los Angeles on Wednesday for a sentencing hearing.
