BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Riemann Family Funeral Home is seeking volunteers to help prepare wreaths for its annual ceremony honoring military service members buried at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The grassroots effort, which started almost 15 years ago, requires volunteers on Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5, to help prepare wreaths for Saturday’s ceremony.
Four 18-wheelers full of wreaths will be delivered by Fayard Warehousing and Trucking on Thursday morning. Volunteers will then unload the wreaths.
“We will be unloading those one by one throughout the day on Thursday, and throughout the day on Friday. We’ll replace every single bow on those wreaths to prepare them for the ceremony on Saturday,” said Chad Riemann with Riemann Family Funeral Home.
The funeral home needs about 1,000
