The final full moon of 2025 is here, and it’s the last of three consecutive supermoons that make for a stunning sight in California’s night sky.
The December full moon, known as the Cold Moon, is on Thursday, Dec. 4. But a moon will appear full for a couple of days, said NASA , so you do have some time to look up at the sky.
What is a supermoon?
A supermoon is when a full moon is at or near its closest point to Earth, a point known as the perigee, said NASA .
