The Chicago White Sox have added a reliever to their bullpen, signing Anthony Kay to a multi-year contract according to multiple reports.
According to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the two-year deal will pay Kay $5 million per season, with a mutual option of $10 million for the 2028 season.

After a five-year MLB career, Kay has pitched the last two seasons in Japan for Yokohama, with a 9-6 record and a 1.74 ERA in 24 appearances last season.
In his five MLB seasons, he has a 5.59 ERA in 44 total appearances, primarily pitching out of the bullpen for the Blue Jays, Cubs and Mets.
