The program, which provides gifts, toys and food to pre-registered families during the holiday season, has 750 families and more than 1,200 children signed up for assistance this year, according to a community announcement.
Angel Trees, featuring tags representing each child in the program, are located at Birchwood Mall near Target and at the Fort Gratiot Walmart by the cash registers. Tags also are available at the Salvation Army's main office at 2000 Court St., Port Huron.
