That was the decision of the Millet Lightning coaching staff when they hosted the Devon Bisons at the Millet Agriplex Friday night. Article content Article content
Manager Jody Dickau said the team was down 4-3 when they decided to pull netminder Curt Dyberg in the third period.
“We pulled the goalie and you either score or you get scored on. We got scored on,” he said.
Despite the loss, Dickau said the team played well and it feels like they’re about to turn a corner.
“We should start making up some ground here.”
The Lightning are currently 4-8 in their 12 games this season.
A lot of the team’s struggle said Dickau is the fact they only had three practices.
