Some Republicans in Washington are demanding answers after U.S. forces carried out a second strike in the southern Caribbean, killing survivors of an initial attack on a suspected drug boat from Venezuela.
U.S. Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Mo. 7 th District, told Missourinet that he has no problem with the U.S. going after narco-terrorists.
“I don’t want to get involved in regime change for the sake of regime change,” said Burlison. “I think our goal should be clear and that we will not tolerate criminal activity happening in the United States, and I think if we can cut off the supply of money, it will cut off the political power that cartels have, and you’ll see reforms happen in Venezuela.”
