The already crowded race for Minnesota governor just got a little more cramped, as MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell took an important step to become a Republican candidate.
The Mike Lindell for Governor Committee registered with Minnesota’s Campaign Finance Board on Wednesday, according to an online record. The filing also lists the website www.mikelindellgov.com, although the site is not currently active.
Lindell’s campaign chair tells Bring Me The News that Lindell has not officially decided whether or not he will run for governor in 2026, despite the filing, which he called a "placeholder." Lindell is expected to announce his final decision during a news conference next week.
