Dealership owner convicted in money laundering conspiracy

PEABODY — The owner of a local used car dealership was convicted of money laundering conspiracy last week following a six-day trial, the U.S. District Attorney’s Office said in a prepared statement.

Christiane Fischer, 42, of Wakefield was convicted on the sole count three years after being indicted by a federal grand jury. She owns PK Motor Cars, a dealership at 195 Washington St. that also rents and repairs used cars.
