The New Orleans City Council this week will launch an online reporting system to document potential abuses from federal immigration officers as the Department of Homeland Security begins its enforcement operation in New Orleans.

A spokesperson for City Council President JP Morrell said witnesses of potential abuses will be able to upload videos, pictures and related information once the website officially launches. The launch is expected either Wednesday or Thursday, barring any technical issues.

The site, which will be accessible in Spanish, Vietnamese, English and Arabic, will also have handouts to educate people on their rights.
