The future of Rutgers football have signed their name on the dotted line.

The Scarlet Knights saw the 21 verbal commits in their 2026 recruiting class become official members of the program when they signed their national letters of intent on Wednesday, the first day of the three-day early signing period.

Aside from three-star defensive back Chris Hewitt Jr. flipping his commitment to Georgia Tech in the morning, everything went as planned for Rutgers, which publicly announced all 21 of their acquisitions by 12:45 p.m. on social media.

The group ranks 41st nationally in the 247Sports Composite , a number that would have been three spots higher if four-star prospect Wydeek Collier had not reclassified to the 2025 class in the summer.
