On Wednesday, Omnicom Media hosted its first company-wide town hall meeting following its parent company’s $13 billion acquisition of former rival IPG, in which leaders explained the company’s new structure and expressed confidence in its future.
The two-and-a-half-hour meeting was live streamed on Omnicom Media’s private Vimeo account; however, ADWEEK was able to access the meeting, as the link was unencrypted. After the meeting ended, the video was barred from public view.
Florian “Flo” Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, began the meeting by bemoaning recent news coverage and social media commentary on the acquisition, which closed last Wednesday after a nearly year-long effort with regulatory hurdles in the U.S.
