ST PAUL, Minn. — Mike Lindell, the pillow pitchman better known recently for his involvement in lawsuits and legal actions, is running for Minnesota's top political post.
A filing with the Secretary of State's office shows Lindell filed on Wednesday to run for Governor under the flag of the Minnesota Republican Party. The MyPillow entrepreneur is a well-known supporter of President Donald Trump and his agenda, and will be vying with fellow Republicans House Speaker Lisa Demuth, State Rep. Kristin Robbins, Dr. Scott Jensen, businessman Kendall Qualls and attorney Chris Madel for a spot on the party ticket.
Lindell, who became known for his cable TV ads hawking his pillows, has made the headlines in recent years more for his legal and financial woes. He was sued for defamation in 2022 for
