STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man was arrested and charged with murder on Wednesday for allegedly beating another man to death outside of a home in Stone Mountain.

DeKalb County deputies said they arrested 33-year-old Justin Scott Waters in Decatur on Wednesday and charged him with felony murder after they say he physically assaulted Taha Ibrahim Tahanur during an altercation outside of a Stone Mountain home on Dunleith Court on Nov. 17.

New warrants obtained by 11Alive allege that Waters heard Tahanur and two other men who looked like they were play fighting in the street outside of the home. The warrant states that Tahanur had allegedly struck somebody and another person had told Waters what had happened.
