During a recent briefing focused on the current genocide of Christians and other religious minorities in Nigeria, U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) pledged further investigation into the matter, calling it a "crisis that can't be ignored."

The briefing follows President Donald Trump's directive to the House Appropriations Committee to look into the violence and report its findings to the White House.
