The Paradise Valley Unified School District governing board voted to begin the process to dismiss its former superintendent, who was accused of grade inflation during his time at an Indiana school district.
The board held a special meeting on Dec. 2, which had little discussion and lasted for only about 10 minutes. The board voted to approve the statement of charges against Todd Cummings, who will have 10 days to request a hearing.
