HOLCOMB, Kan. (KAKE) - A Kansas teen has been arrested after officers responded to the report of an armed robbery on Tuesday morning.

Holcomb Police Department officers and Finney County sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported bank robbery at Equity Bank, located at 401 N. Henderson Street in Holcomb. Dispatch advised all units responding that the suspect had a knife and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The 16-year-old Holcomb boy was located in the bank parking lot and taken into custody without incident. Evidence of the crime was located and collected, police say. No one was hurt.

This is an ongoing investigation. The Finney County Sheriff’s Office is the lead agency and is conducting the investigation.
