A Westchester County man is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a top prize in the New York Lottery’s Win $1,000 A Week For Life scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.
Kyle Kalotschke of Amawalk opted to receive the “For Life” prize in annuitized payments. His first payment totaled $33,852 after required withholdings. The ticket guarantees a minimum payout of $1,000,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Baldwin Place Valero, located at 55 Route 6 in Baldwin Place.
Baldwin Place is about 50 miles away from New York City.
As of this writing, eight top prizes remain on the Win $1,000 A Week For Life ticket. Players can check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
