SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - The Sulphur High School main and 9th-grade campuses have been evacuated while authorities investigate a reported bomb threat, school officials confirmed.
The Calcasieu Parish School Board said the Sulphur Police Department received a bomb threat made towards the school.
The main and 9th-grade campuses are currently evacuated. All students, faculty, and staff are safe, CPSB said.
Law enforcement is currently handling the situation, CPSB said. The school board will share updates as they can.
In the meantime, CPSB asks people to avoid the area around the campus.
