Speed enforcement cameras in several Front Royal school zones could remain in place for another two years.

Mayor Lori Cockrell, Vice Mayor Amber Veitenthal and council members Melissa DeDomenico-Payne, Joshua Ingram, H. Bruce Rappaport, R. Wayne Sealock and Glenn Wood received information at their Monday work session about the town’s contract with Blue Line Solutions to operate speed-zone enforcement cameras in four school zones.

Council members plan to consider extending the contract for another two years. The initial two-year contract that was approved in 2023 end in March. Front Royal had the option to renew the contract for two years.
